MkII NFS Helmet - Rescue

A Brodie MkII steel helmet for the National Fire Service Rescue Task Force. Green painted helmet with a red leader's band. NFS decal to the front and the initials RTF in an oval on the outer rim where the divisional number would normally be. Small dent to the right of the crown. Very slight deformation of the rim. Shell stamped BMB (Briggs Motor Bodies) with an illegible date. Liner and crown pad intact. Liner with size mark 7 and a 1938 date. Part elasticated chinstrap
