Volkswagen KDF Badge

A visitors lapel badge for the Volkswagen factory in Fallersleben (now Wolfsburg). Volkswagen in a DAF cog insignia, with clip. The VW KDF-wagen was produced under Adolf Hitler's supervision in 1938 as a cheap car for working people and marketed under the KDF Strength Through Joy organisation. The KDF-wagen cost around 990 Reichsmarks - about £5,000.
